Parent and Toddler Skating

Our Parent and Toddler session takes place on a Tuesday morning from 10:00-11:00 and is designed for children aged under five.

This pay and play session is led by a fully qualified coach and is suitable for toddlers as soon as they can walk. With plenty of toys, penguins and sit on rides, it’s a bit like a playgroup on ice, so wrap up warm and get ready to have fun!

Children must be accompanied on the ice by a parent or guardian. For this session only, participants can choose to wear skates or walk on the ice in trainers.

Please note these sessions are held during figure skating sessions in a cordoned off area of the ice rink.

Cost: £8.00. One adult and one child including skate hire.

We are committed to making sport and physical activity accessible to everyone. Our Get active for Less discounted access scheme offers a range of pay and play and membership discounts to those who meet the eligibility criteria.

Skate Tots

We also offer a weekly Skate Tots class as part of our Learn to Skate programme.

This class is suitable for children from walking to 5 years, and takes place on a Saturday morning from 11:15-11:45 every week.

The session still focuses on play based learning with toys and penguins but is more structured and feeds children directly into our Learn to Skate Junior programme when they turn 5.
