Relaxed Skating Sessions

Relaxed skating sessions are held at the Linx Ice Arena.

Sessions are open to skaters of all ages and abilities with a focus on encouraging people with additional support needs to try the sport.

All carers attending the sessions skate for free, with skate hire available for £2.30 if required. Adaptive equipment is available upon request and we are able to accommodate wheelchairs.

Please note there is no music played during the session and dimmed coloured lighting is used.

A safe space is available for anyone who wishes to take time out from skating, with friendly staff on hand to provide advice and support at all times.

Cost

  • Juniors: £5.60
  • Adults: £9.50
  • Skate Hire, if required: £2.30

The following discounted access rates apply for eligible Get active for Less customers:

  • Juniors: £2.80
  • Adults: £4.75
  • Skate Hire, if required: £1.15
