Running along Aberdeen’s beachfront, Kings Links offers a traditional links golf experience in one of the city’s most distinctive coastal settings.
Golf has been played in this area since 1661, giving the course a strong connection to the history of the game in Aberdeen.
Set between the city and the sea, the course makes full use of the natural undulating dune terrain, with coastal winds adding to the challenge and character of each round.
For golfers looking for an authentic links test, Kings Links offers a memorable mix of seaside scenery, changing conditions, and classic east coast golf.
About Kings Links Golf Course
The current Kings Links course was laid out in 1872 and is a classic links course so characteristic of Scotland’s east coast.
Think big dunes, very quick greens and lots of bunkers. Described as “golf in the raw”, watch out if the wind is blowing!
At 6,442 yards, par 71, with four par 5s and five par 3s, the course has great variation and provides an enjoyable challenge for golfers looking for a traditional links experience.
